Friedrich Froebel created the first Kindergarten in Germany in 1837. Kindergarten means children’s garden. It is defined as pre-school education based approach comprising playing, singing, practical activities, and social interaction as part of the transition from home to school.
Kindergarten Section of Integrated Indian School is lively and active. The teachers of the K.G. Section work here with great enthusiasm. We love our kids and care for them. Our speciality in Kindergarten is to make each child feel special. We take great interest in developing and moulding the tiny tots. We give the opportunity from the very beginning for the students to get over their shyness and hesitation.
Our main motto is Knowledge to Perfection. Technology is used as a tool for learning for KG. Accordingly we are equipped with a T V and a CD player to keep them active by watching cartoons, rhymes, stories, GK etc. Different events like Pink Day, Red Day, Yellow Day, Orange Day, Fruit and Vegetable Day, Cleanliness Day and Mother’s Day are celebrated in order to give a message and also make the child aware of the importance of that day.
To inculcate confidence in them we organize Assembly, Presentations, Competitions like Colouring, Recitation, Fancy Dress, Drawing & New Year Card Making & Writing. To maintain their sound physique we have many events of physical exercises like Running Race, Lemon & Spoon Race, Pick & Run Race and Musical chair etc.
IIS kids receive an all-round development/grooming with the academic schedule.
Lastly, the most memorable day for our tiny tots is the Graduation Day with lot of programmes like different Dances, Cultural show etc. We bid farewell to them with hood and gown. It is a day of fun, frolic and Achievement.
