REPORT OF WINTER CARNIVAL, 2017
The much awaited Integrated Indian School Winter Carnival was held on 4th November, 2017, in the school premises keeping afloat the spirit of the school motto ‘Knowledge to Perfection.’ The morning celebrations commenced with Mr. Mahesh Iyer’s melodious classical song and his message as the Chief Guest of the day. The enthralling song by the Principal of Smart Indian School, Kuwait and a crowd pulling dance added flavour to the inaugural moments. The cutting of colourful ribbon by Mr. Mahesh Iyer along with Mr. Arul Dharmaraj, the Principal of IIS, marked the inauguration of the carnival. The school grounds pulsated with scintillating music and a lively crowd. The carnival had something in store for everybody, be it children or adults. The stalls put up by teachers and students such as food stalls, games stalls, DJ session, etc, showcased their artistic and creative abilities. A variety of eco-friendly products were indeed a crowd puller. A very special segment catering to the interest of the kids included a variety of rides and games, flash mob, the music dedication, nail art and tattoo, baby show, fashion show, and fancy dress were added attractions. An array of edible delights, raffle draw and exciting prizes ensured an unforgettable time with near and dear ones. The presence of Col. Ebrahim Abdul Razaq, Area Commander Police, Aldaej, at the concluding function, was an added blessing for all. His message was thought provoking and inspiring. The zest and zeal exhibited by an enthusiastic crowd of visitors and participants made the Winter Carnival 2017 a memorable one.
