The Department of French conducted a special French Assembly on 27 September 2026 at Integrated Indian School, Kuwait, on the theme « Les Valeurs de la Vie » (Values of Life). The assembly aimed to highlight the importance of positive values in students’ daily lives and their role in creating a caring, respectful and harmonious school community.
The programme focused on five important values: Respect, Amitié, Tolérance, Solidarité et Responsabilité — Respect, Friendship, Tolerance, Solidarity and Responsibility. Through engaging presentations, dialogues and performances, the students conveyed meaningful messages about practising these values in their everyday lives.
A special feature of the assembly was the presentation of various aspects of French culture and heritage. The students showcased les parfums français (French perfumes), la cuisine française (French cuisine), les fromages français (French cheeses) and les monuments français (French monuments). These presentations offered the audience an interesting glimpse into French culture and heritage.

The assembly provided the students with an excellent opportunity to enhance their French-speaking skills, confidence, creativity, teamwork and stage presence. It successfully brought together language learning, cultural awareness and moral education, making the learning of French enjoyable and meaningful.
The Department of French expresses its sincere appreciation to all the participating students, teachers and staff members whose dedication, cooperation and teamwork contributed to the success of the programme.
The assembly concluded with an inspiring message from the Principal, Mrs. Ritu Matur: “Good values help us become responsible, kind and better human beings.” By practising respect, friendship, tolerance, solidarity and responsibility, every student can contribute to making the school a happier, more caring and harmonious place.
