INTER-HOUSE DANCE COMPETITION
Dancing gives you nothing but that simple fleeting moment when you feel alive
Integrated Indian School witnessed its first Inter-House Dance Competition on 8thJune 2023 . The distinguished judges for the occasion were Mrs Bindu Radhakrishna from Kuwait Indian School and Mrs Sabina, dance teacher of IIS. Our Principal Mrs Ritu Mathur and Vice Principal Mrs Husena Ali Asgar , and manager Mr. Mohammad Ali made the occasion special with their presence. The four competing houses- Truth House, Happiness House, Success House, and Knowledge House all presented vibrant dance performances.
The function began with solo dance performance which emphasized the diversity of dance through the various dance forms like modern, contemporary and remix. The students of IIS promoted adopting an optimistic perspective towards life through their performance.
This was followed by group dance performances.
The competition was addressed by the Principal Mrs Ritu Mathur who greeted everyone who contributed towards achieving the final vision and proving their mettle to emerge as a winner. She also added that we should always strive to acknowledge and appreciate the hard-work of everyone. She appreciated the efforts of all the performers and congratulated the students on making the function a success.
The function concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by the vice principal Mrs Husena Ali Asgar who extended her heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished guests for their presence. She thanked the students for their eager participation and the tech team, for being the backbone of the entire programme.
